Spiritual Counselling
I’m a qualified Counsellor with over 14 years experience working with adults within a range of organisations including the NHS, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health foundation trust, RSVP, dementia groups, carer’s association and Saint Mary’s Hospice in Birmingham as a Senior Bereavement Counsellor where I worked 1-1 and set up bereavement groups.

Client confidentiality is paramount.

I’m friendly and approachable and I have a huge range of experience working with clients with various issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, bereavement and loss, guilt, shame, trauma, abuse, rape and sexual abuse, fertility issues, relationship issues, low confidence and low self-esteem, feeling stuck, career issues, bullying, poor self-image and much more.

I am trained in a number of different modalities but person-centred/client centred is my base as I’m naturally empathic, this allows each client to feel safe and not feel judged so they can share their issues or story.

I’m also trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and this works well in addition to my other Counselling skills to help each client become more aware of their thoughts and behaviours, how to process them and make positive changes to them.

I also use stress management techniques including breathing and relaxation methods, creative visualisation tools to remove mental and emotional blocks that may be preventing people from reaching their full potential.

I wish to help support each client to learn ideas to manage their own stress and anxiety and my ultimate aim is to empower my clients to become whole again so they can move forwards in life with greater ease, self-confidence and self-awareness.
